“When someone makes the decision to tell their story to a therapist, it is because however lost, bleak or empty they feel, somewhere deep inside of them is a hunger to feel alive again, a hope, however small, that this is possible."
Persistent feelings of helplessness, anger, shame, emptiness, anxiety, loneliness or perfectionism can be troubling and often are the impetus for change. Therapy can be an answer to those who want to transform: confusing or painful memories can be deciphered into a narrative that finally makes sense; learning where you end and other people begin can create healthier relationships; the futile struggle of trying to be someone else can, instead, become a rewarding struggle to be yourself.
I provide a therapeutic space where compassion, curiosity and theoretical teachings converge, an environment that feels safe for you to tell me your story. The Therapist/Patient dynamic is both distinctive and intentional and is used as part of the treatment to help you live a more authentic and satisfying life.
